Purple cauliflower for CA200, CA300 and CA600 BSPs. Viigourous plant, good selfcovering, moderate postrate habit. Curd round, smooth, very dense, goes round till stem. Florets are good to separate and internal purple. Growingdays cool till warmr: 75-85 days, warm 65 days, warm till coll 85-90 days. Suitable for fresh, dual-purpose and processing (freezing and convienence) Better curdquality than Depurple (Syn) better color, better grain, more heavy. Depurple is less suitable for processing. Versatile purple cauliflower
Lavender RZ is a purple-coloured cauliflower variety for both the fresh and industrial markets. The dense curd is smooth and rounded. It retains its attractive purple colour, even after processing. The crop has good vigour and is strong against riceyness. The plants remain clean and healthy, even under stress, and have good leaf wrapping which supports the uniform colouring. Lavender RZ also has good field standability. It takes 75-85 days to mature in spring, 65-68 in summer and 85-100 in autumn and moderate winter. This variety is recommended for all production areas.
