Excellent field standability

Werre RZ is a white kohlrabi for the fresh market. It has flatround shaped bulbs with strong and flexible leaves. The plant is vigorous and has a semi upright habit. The roots and hypocotyl are strong. Even in difficult conditions, Werre RZ performs well. Werre RZ has an excellent harvest window, very good field standing ability and is strong against cracking. We recommend this variety for late summer and autumn harvest in Central and Eastern Europe and for late autumn into winter harvest open field cultivation in South Europe.
